Interest in Al (Artificial Intelligence) has exploded. This technology has quickly gained in popularity and with good reason.
A number of big companies such as Facebook, Youtube, and Google are already embracing this new idea, and other brands are rapidly following suit.
Artificial intelligence is already here with us, with examples such as Siri, Cortana, and Google Assistant playing a major role in the success of companies behind them. These Al’s do not need any human assistance, which might be a little worrisome as people fear robots taking over their jobs.
However, the benefits of using AI can be incredible.
In medicine, for instance, Al is being used to foresee possible future diseases. Another instance of its usage is on social media where it attempts to prevent a potential suicide by gathering information from user’s posts.
The list of AI implementation grows every day.
How Sephora uses Artificial Intelligence
Sephora is a beauty website with an AI that helps customers find a makeup. The chatbot system in Sephora helps users to find their ideal products by filtering through thousands of products using questions asked by the user.
How Lowe’s uses Artificial Intelligence
Unlike many other brands using AI in the form of software, Lowe’s actually uses physical robots in their stores to help customers navigate and find products that they’re interested in. An additional function that these bots can perform is helping the staff with scanning the inventory.
How Lloyds Bank uses Artificial Intelligence
When it comes to finances, security is paramount and Lloyds Bank is looking to abolish the old fashioned way of using passwords to access money to more digitized options. It introduced an Al option that requires either one’s voice or fingerprint to allow access to her bank accounts.
Clearly, Artificial Intelligence will greatly improve customer experience.
The Future of AI
There is no doubt Al technology has more in store for us. Think of driverless cars driving us around, or robots serving us coffee in the restaurants, or your lights turning on and soft music playing as soon as you open your door. (How good would that be!)
Nothing is impossible

Hi Hazel,
AI and business intelligence are growing rapidly as more business adapting them as you have mentioned in your post and in the infographic, it is interesting how applications built with AI and business intelligence can help us make our life easier and safer. But the idea that the world will be run one by machines is scary though.
It’s also interesting to think how this could affect us as bloggers as it’s mentioned in the infographic that 20% of business content will be authored by machines! Maybe our blogs will become a classic blogs authored by human and read only by old people that need a special internet connection to reach our blogs.
